Kate DeSisto

Believes that the mat is the perfect place to explore our creativity and observe something new about ourselves. Most importantly, she hopes that those practicing with her discover the benefits of yoga beyond the mat: in mind, body, and spirit.

More About Kate

Kate was introduced to yoga early in adulthood. Diving in initially for the physical benefits and stress relief, she quickly realized the depth of this practice. Now, over a decade later, Kate seeks to help her students find joy in their practices, while maintaining a mindful approach to breath and movement. She believes that the mat is the perfect place to explore our creativity and observe something new about ourselves. Most importantly, she hopes that those practicing with her discover the benefits of yoga beyond the mat: in mind, body, and spirit.

Outside of the yoga studio, Kate enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her best canine friend, Blue, and her partner, Andrew. She also teaches music and can occasionally be seen singing with the band Start Making Sense.

Kate completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training in 2015 at Easton Yoga, and in 2018 completed her Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga certification with Miss Melanie Yoga and Aerial Yoga certification at Boundless Yoga.
